We are looking for a Driving Instructor to join our team. If you have a CT DMV DRIVING INSTRUCTOR LICENSE and are looking for a part-time position, we are a well-established school located in West Hartford Center. All students are picked up and dropped off at home or area High Schools.

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-car instruction to students learning to drive.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that cover essential driving skills, traffic laws, and safe driving habits.
• Evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
• Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, progress, and completed lessons.
• Ensure that the training vehicle is well-maintained and safe for instruction.
• Stay current on updates to traffic laws and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service to students and their families.

Qualifications:

• MUST HOLD A CURRENT VALID CT DMV DRIVING INSTRUCTOR LICENSE
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws, defensive driving techniques, and vehicle safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, empathetic, and able to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
