Job Description:

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Government Contract Acquisition Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing government contract opportunities, responding to solicitations, and managing contract acquisition processes.

Responsibilities:

Identify and respond to posted government solicitations to acquire government contracts.

Develop comprehensive proposals and bid documents in alignment with solicitation requirements.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliance with contract specifications and deliverables.

Facilitate communication with government agencies and clients to finalize agreements.

Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to project timelines and objectives.

Utilize Microsoft productivity applications such as Word and Excel for documentation and reporting.

Maintain organized records and documentation of contract activities, including proposal submissions and contract modifications.

Communicate effectively with clients via email, telephone, and in-person meetings to address inquiries and maintain positive relationships.

Demonstrate professionalism and a courteous demeanor in all interactions.

Requirements:

Computer literacy with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.

Proficient typing skills and a minimum high school graduate level of reading and writing.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Comfortable with note-taking and other organizational techniques to maintain efficiency.

Ability to communicate fluently in English with a professional tone and demeanor.

Experience in business-level conversations over the telephone and in-person meetings.
