Automation Technician– Direct Hire | Up to $55/hr + Full Benefits

Location: Carol Stream, IL (50% On-Site / 50% Travel) 
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: Up to $55/hr, Based on Experience + Full Benefits Package
Travel: Approximately 50% (3 weeks travel / 1 week on-site rotation)

 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical project documentation

• Support field personnel with technical troubleshooting

• Assess and integrate new automation technologies

• Collaborate with design teams on functional and risk analysis

• Modify and adapt software per project requirements

• Train internal teams on new technologies and processes

• Travel to client sites approximately 50% of the time

 Qualifications

• Hands-on PLC experience with B&R equipment (Required)

• Proficient with Structured Text, Ladder Logic, and Function Block programming

• Experience using Automation Studio (B&R), Rockwell Studio 500, and Siemens TIA Portal V17

• Knowledge of NFPA 79, Rockwell Safety Automation Builder, and SISTEMA (preferred)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Strong background in troubleshooting industrial control systems
