Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and safety-focused Safety Coordinator to support our team during the seasonal period. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of California safety regulations, OSHA compliance, and the ability to lead safety training and presentations in both English and Spanish.

• MUST BE AVAILABLE TO COMMUTE TO DIFFERENT COUNTIES

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate reports of injuries, property damage, and vehicle or machinery incidents
• Implement corrective actions based on investigation findings
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the safety program
• Maintain accurate safety records and track safety performance
• Select, distribute, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Recommend and implement workplace safety improvements
• Ensure daily compliance with all safety policies and regulations
• Create, update, and communicate safety procedures
• Lead and present safety meetings and trainings for large groups

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of California industrial safety regulations
• In-depth understanding of OSHA standards and training practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); ability to quickly learn internal systems
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required
• Previous experience in a safety-related role preferred
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills
