Job Description

Build Technician | Long-Term Contract

Responsible for production. They will decontent the vehicles (subassembly). Add tires and roll it to the next station. The next station will add driverless technologies to the vehicle and build it back up.
Each cell varies depending on what they do but each cell adds a little to the vehicle. There are 8 total cells.
Must have experience with hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, assembly, computer experience (Chromebook) – each contractor gets assigned a Chromebook, torque gauges (recording data), etc. This is a slower pace. Prototype facility/production. Cycle times are 1-2 hours.
Maintenance of the vehicle fleet. Changing tires. Light fabrication. Setting up for the next generation platform.
