Our company is currently seeking ​a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for our company.

Qualifications:

• Must have minimum of 5 years experience as a full charge bookkeeper
• Must be able to prepare internal financial statements
• Must be familiar with QuickBooks and Excel.
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong organizational skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Must be able to attend monthly office meeting in Farmingville (Suffolk County)

Knowledge of mortgage banking and mortgage brokerage a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Post transactions
• Complete bank reconciliations
• Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
• Compute and record numerical data
• Check the accuracy of business transactions
• Perform data entry and administrative duties
