Lead Optometric Technician

University Vision Centre is hiring a Lead Optometric Technician to oversee and support our clinical technician team. The ideal candidate is experienced, highly organized, and ready to take on a leadership role in a busy, patient-focused practice.

Responsibilities:

• Guide and mentor technician staff
• Perform advanced pre-testing and assist doctors
• Maintain efficient patient flow and high care standards
• Flexibility to work at both East and West El Paso locations based on department needs and, secondarily, scheduling needs

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as an optometric technician
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
