Qualifications

Industry knowledge of plastics and plastic machining is required
At least 5 previous years of experience as a General Manager
Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to read documents such as blueprints
Demonstrate consistent decision making and exercise appropriate judgment that balances customer and company requirements
Excellent written, verbal communication, and analysis skills are required
Builder of great relationships with internal and external customers
Willingness to continuously learn and be open to feedback to improve individual performance
Ability to motivate and retain employees to get excellent performance
Must be able to lift 50lbs

Responsibilities

Implement manufacturing process improvements to improve affordability, quality, and schedule
Ensures team members receive the required training
Manage inventory & equipment to ensure the company's assets are being utilized in a productive manner
Develop goals & objectives to help the team reach on a monthly basis
Assign and manage staff as needed to maximize efficiency and achieve on time delivery
Help optimize sales and assist production manager as needed
Accountable for all plant operations, maintenance, and production goals
Consistent attendance and is seldom absent from work
Establishes policies and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness
