The Opportunity

A group of companies in the Louisville, KY, area is seeking an individual that is interested in a Sales Support Specialist Position. This is the right-hand person to their assigned Sales Representative that sells asphalt equipment to the asphalt industry within a specified territory. This is a great position to learn about the asphalt industry and provide value to customers all over North America. Focusing on teamwork and work ethic could potentially allow for upward advancement into a Sales Rep position.

For those interested in a future position in sales within our family of companies, this is an excellent opportunity to learn our products, services and industry which are all vital tools to be successful both as an individual and as a team. Customized training begins Day one and is completed by the team as a whole. Training includes time with Sales Representatives, Engineering, Project Management, and other Sales Support Specialists. Competitive compensation and benefits package will be provided to the selected candidate.

The Candidate

The candidate should be professional and have excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, and strong capability of multi-tasking. This position plays a key role in communicating with many vendors and customers on a daily basis. The candidate should be comfortable with business computer software such as MS Word, Outlook, Excel and navigating databases such as CRM.

The individual will work direct with our Sales Representatives and report to the Director of Sales. Each Sales Representative is equipped with several years of industry experience, and it will be important for the Sales Support Specialist to provide them with accurate and timely information. Likewise, the Sales Support Specialist should have basic mechanical aptitude along with the interest to learn more every day about our business and equipment.
