Job Type: Contract to hire

Pay: $17.50

Hours: 1st shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm

Location: Gilberts, IL

FUNCTION: Cast high quality ceramic pieces to ensure on-time deliveries and complete customer satisfaction.

Education requirement: High school or GED preferred, read and write English and basic math skills.

1. Cast high quality pieces per company training and direction. Write CP number, caster number, and batch number on each piece in pencil when applicable.

2. Fettle and clean pieces in a quick and professional manner to minimize production costs.

3. Empty and clean mix tubs. Return to mix department as required.

4. Exercise care in maintaining molds. Return any damaged molds to the mold shop in a timely manner.

5. Inform the Lead Worker of any problems in a timely manner.

6. Clean work areas daily at the end of the shift to ensure that the plant is always "visit ready".

7. Perform safety-related repairs as directed by Lead Worker.

8. Continually improve own knowledge of casting through company training.

9. Perform other duties as directed by Manufacturing Manager or Lead Worker.
