Join Our Team as a Home Care Scheduler!

Location: Port Charlotte, FL
Hours: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
On-Call: Rotating On-Call responsibilities (after-hours & weekends)

Are you organized, caring, and love connecting people with the help they need? We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and team-oriented Home Care Scheduler to join our amazing crew at ActivAge Home Care!

In this role, you’ll be the friendly face behind the scenes—making sure our clients have the support they need and our caregivers are scheduled where they’re needed most. If you enjoy fast-paced days, solving puzzles, and being part of a mission-driven team, this might be the perfect fit for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Coordinate and manage caregiver schedules to meet client needs
Match caregivers to clients based on skills, availability, and compatibility
Staying in touch with both caregivers and families to keep things running smoothly
Helping to resolve last-minute changes or needs with a calm and positive approach
Monitor attendance and resolve scheduling conflicts promptly
Participating in our rotating On-Call schedule (after hours & weekends)
Ensure compliance with client care plans and staffing guidelines
Keeping records updated and organized using our scheduling software
Supporting your team and always looking for ways to improve care coordination

You’d Be a Great Fit If You:

Have experience with scheduling (bonus points if it’s in private duty {non-medical} home care!) 1 year minimum REQUIRED
Have excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently while staying calm under pressure
Strong computer skills
Experience with AlayaCare software (a plus!)
A team player with a positive attitude and passion for helping others
