Essential Responsibilities and Competencies

Establish a positive, structured learning environment
Develop and implement daily instruction plans
Employ a variety of creative and research-based instructional strategies
Conduct interim assessments and track student progress
Apply classroom management techniques
Maintain accurate and complete records
Set measurable, ambitious, and attainable goals

Background:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
Missouri Teaching Certification required (Social Studies Teacher - Social Science 5-9 preferred)
1-3 years of teaching experience as a Social Studies Teacher or a Math Teacher
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience with school teaching platforms and technology for virtual learning
