Job Title: 2nd Shift Supervisor (Bilingual – English/Spanish)
Location: Chicopee, ma 
Schedule: 2nd Shift ( 3:00 PM – 1:00AM)
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:
A busy and growing lumber yard, is seeking a reliable and experienced 2nd Shift Supervisor to oversee operations during the afternoon and evening shift. The ideal candidate must be bilingual in English and Spanish, possess strong leadership skills, and have prior experience in a warehouse, lumber yard, or industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of 2nd shift team members

• Ensure orders are picked, processed, and loaded accurately and efficiently

• Monitor production workflow and address any delays or issues

• Train, coach, and evaluate team performance to meet productivity and safety goals

• Enforce company policies and promote a safe work environment

• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other shifts

• Complete shift reports and documentation as required

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper handling of lumber and materials

Requirements:

• Bilingual – fluent in both English and Spanish (required)

• 2+ years of supervisory or lead experience in a warehouse or yard environment

• Prior experience in the lumber industry strongly preferred

• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

• Ability to operate forklifts and yard equipment (certification is a plus)

• Basic computer skills (inventory systems, email, shift reports)

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions when needed
