Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Local Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of our products to our clients within the local area and surrounding regions, utilizing the company managed fleet.

This is a CDL-A position as you will be expected to back up the long-haul driver when necessary. (IE Vacation coverage, etc).

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers in the local area and surrounding regions.
• Pick, pull, load and unload products onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring accuracy and careful handling of items.
• Plan delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery times, taking into account traffic and weather conditions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering orders promptly and courteously, and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally.
• Maintain delivery records, including invoices, delivery confirmations, and mileage logs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and ensuring cleanliness, to ensure safe and reliable operation of delivery vehicles.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating company vehicles, prioritizing safety at all times.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics team members to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
• Communicate effectively with customers, warehouse staff, and management regarding delivery schedules, product availability, and any issues or concerns that may arise during deliveries.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL-A driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to successfully qualify for a medical DOT card.
• Must be ready, willing, and able to deliver across state lines as we deliver to both Phoenix & Boise. (IE 21 years of age or older)
• Prior experience in delivery driving or related field required.
• Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns in the delivery area.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading products.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage delivery schedules effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and vehicle maintenance.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws and company policies.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
