Zing Recruiting is partnering with a state-of-the-art commercial food production facility in Indianapolis to hire experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians for a direct hire opportunity. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll be on the floor keeping high-speed, automated machinery running at peak performance.

Location: Indianapolis, IN (West Side)
Direct Hire
Shift: 5pm - 5am, 2, 2, 3
Pay: $30–$38/hr. Depending on experience+ $1/hr. Shift Diff.
Bonus: $5,000 Sign-On (paid at 90 & 180 days)

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of multi-craft industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting and automation experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

• Background in food, beverage, or FDA-regulated manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Pearson, NiverPlast, or similar packaging systems.
• Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, sensors, and VFDs.

• Perform preventive, reactive, and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (motors, sensors, VFDs, 3-phase power).
• Maintain and support automated packaging systems (Pearson, NiverPlast).
• Work with PLCs (Allen-Bradley) and HMIs for basic troubleshooting.
• Repair and maintain mechanical systems: conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to solve root-cause issues.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, FDA, and internal safety standards.
