Job Title: Experienced Medical Assistant - Medical Spa

Location: Lumera LLC, 6464 SW Borland Rd. Suite C3 Tualatin, OR 97062

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience

Lumera LLC is a luxury medical spa offering advanced aesthetic and wellness treatments in a professional, client-focused environment. We specialize in services such as injectables, laser therapy, body contouring, hormone optimization, and regenerative medicine. We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant who is passionate about patient care and aesthetics to support our clinical team.

Position Overview:

As a key part of our client experience, the Medical Assistant will assist providers with aesthetic and medical treatments, manage patient flow, and ensure a seamless and professional atmosphere. This role requires excellent organizational skills, clinical knowledge, and a polished, personable demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and prepare patients for aesthetic and medical treatments

- Assist providers during procedures such as injectables, PRP, laser treatments, and other in-office therapies

- Maintain a clean, organized treatment environment

- Input patient data accurately into the EMR system

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Perform basic administrative tasks including scheduling, patient communication, and treatment coordination

- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and order as needed

- Provide post-treatment instructions and support patient education

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery setting

- Medical Assistant certification or equivalent training required

- CPR/BLS certification required

- Strong knowledge of aesthetic procedures and terminology

- Familiarity with EMR systems and HIPAA compliance

- Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, client-centered environment

Preferred but Not Required:

- Experience with laser platforms (e.g., Sciton, Cynosure, BTL)

- Prior experience assisting with injectables or skin rejuvenation procedures

- Knowledge of skincare products and post-treatment care
