Bilingual Field Survey Assistant (Spanish-English)

Location: Various Church Units in California - Highland, Colton, Fontana, Moreno Valley

Schedule: Primarily Sundays, with flexibility for other days

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and bilingual (Spanish-English) Field Survey Assistant to support a research study involving youth and their parents in various Church units. This role involves visiting Church locations, obtaining parental consent, administering surveys, and ensuring accurate and timely submission of collected data.

Key Responsibilities:

· Visit assigned Church units on Sundays or other scheduled days.

· Communicate effectively with Church leaders (e.g., bishops) to explain the purpose and process of the study.

· Obtain parental consent for youth participation in the survey.

· Administer surveys to both parents and youth, either digitally or using paper forms.

· Scan and securely email completed paper surveys to the research team.

· Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling survey data.

· Drive to various Church units as needed.

Qualifications:

· Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Comfortable speaking with Church leaders and families.

· Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

· Basic technical skills (scanning documents, sending emails).

· Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in community outreach or research.

· Familiarity with Church structure and culture.
