Our client is a Fortune 500 Fintech firm based out of Berkeley Heights, NJ

This is a W2 contract position, no third party please, must be GC holder or US Citizen

Contract duration is 6 months, with the possibility to extend or convert to full time.

Onsite 5 x in the office is mandatory

What you will do:

• Design, development, and implementation of scalable and reliable data products and integration solutions, ensuring high performance, data quality, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, product owners, business analysts, and other engineers to gather requirements and define integration needs.
• Provide technical guidance to a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Develop APIs, data pipelines, and ETL processes to enable seamless data integration and transformation across different systems and platforms.
• Evaluate and select appropriate data integration tools, frameworks, and technologies, considering factors such as scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Perform thorough testing and debugging of integration solutions to identify and resolve issues, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data management, integration, and related technologies, and apply this knowledge to enhance existing systems and propose new solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for effective data management and integration solutions.
• Drive the adoption of best practices and standards for data governance, data modeling, and integration processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest improvements to Testing process and tools to help accelerate, simplify and reduce the cost of deployment.

What you will need to have:

• 4-year bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field & At least 10+ years experience as a Software Engineer, Data Architect
• Ability to develop end-to-end technical solutions into production — and to help ensure performance, security, scalability, and robust data integration.
• Programming expertise in Power BI, Java, Python.
• Core cloud data platforms including Snowflake, AWS, Azure
• SQL and the ability to write, debug, and optimize SQL queries
• Create and deliver detailed presentations.
• Detailed solution documentation (e.g. including POCS and roadmaps, sequence diagrams, class hierarchies, logical system views, etc.)
• Hand-on experience on Power BI, Tableau, Informatica and RDBMS database
