Job Description

Are you an experienced nursing leader passionate about delivering exceptional care and driving clinical excellence? We are seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and nursing services.
Supervise, evaluate, and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.
Conduct daily rounds to ensure staff performance and resident satisfaction.
Facilitate staff recruitment, onboarding, retention, and ongoing development.
Manage department budgets and monitor expenses.
Lead performance improvement initiatives to enhance quality outcomes.
Serve as acting Administrator in their absence.

Requirements:

Active RN license in Michigan (required).
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Director of Nursing or Assistant DON role within a skilled nursing facility (required).
Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
CPR certification (current).
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Familiarity with state and federal nursing regulations.
