Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Home Health

Location: Jackson, MI 49201
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Home Health Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment based in Jackson, MI. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to home-bound patients in accordance with the care plan.
Monitor patient condition, administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform wound care as needed.
Document patient visits accurately using Epic or similar EMR systems.
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
Utilize OASIS to complete accurate and timely assessments.
Maintain compliance with agency protocols and regulatory requirements.
Travel to patient homes; mileage will be reimbursed at $0.67 per mile (tracked in Kronos).

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of recent home health nursing experience.
Active MI RN license in good standing.
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with OASIS documentation.
IV therapy experience.
Familiarity with Epic EMR.
