We are seeking a Box Truck Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, as well as the ability to operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles. The Truck Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a truck or delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
• Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding safety and conduct while on the road.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (CDL) preferred but not required
• A clean driving record.
• Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Experience with heavy lifting and moving items safely is essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver is a plus.
