Solar Foreman and Installer Crew Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess Installation Sites: Evaluate locations to determine the most efficient setup for solar panels, considering factors like roof slope and energy needs.
- Install Solar Systems: Assemble, install, and configure solar modules, panels, and supporting structures according to building codes and safety standards.
- Electrical Connections: Connect solar panels to existing electrical systems, ensuring proper wiring and grounding.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance checks, troubleshoot issues, and repair solar systems as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Client Communication: Interact with clients to explain installation processes, address concerns, and provide support.
- Operational Testing: Conduct tests to ensure solar systems are functioning optimally
Qualifications and Skills - Technical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and solar panel components.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work at heights.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail for accurate installation and maintenance.
- Communication Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills.
COMPENSATION
Strictly based on experience - WE ARE HIRING FOR THE FOLLOWING AND PAY RATES ARE BASED ON WHICH POSITION A CANDIDATE FITS IN AND THEIR YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, PROVEN PROJECT WORK, PROVIDED REFERENCES, AND ANY OTHER FACTORS OUR HIRING EXPERTS DETERMINE
- FOREMAN - 4 years of solar experience including at least 1 in a Foreman role, or 2+ years as a CREW LEAD, battery certifications or experience is a HUGE PLUS, and a willingness to get certified in one or more of the major manufacturers (TESLA, ENPHASE, GENERAC, NEOVOLTA, FRANKLIN)
- CREW or ROOF LEAD
- ROOF INSTALLER
- ROOF HELPER
Certifications
- Osha-10 or higher preferred
- Tesla, Enphase and other BESS experience is a HUGE PLUS
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week - OVERTIME OPPORTUNITIES AND PAY WILL BE AVAILABLE
