Mancini is hiring a Project Accountant – Billing Specialist to support our Office in Tampa, Florida. We're looking for someone highly organized, collaborative, and detail-driven, with strong experience in project billing and financial oversight in a professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly project billing cycles, including reviewing contracts, budgets, and subconsultant invoices.
• Prepare and distribute pre-bills, invoices, and financial documents.
• Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on collections, and address client billing concerns.
• Lead monthly WIP meetings and maintain accurate revenue and forecasting reports.
• Ensure timesheet accuracy and proper setup of projects in Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Coordinate with project managers and leadership on budgeting, reporting, and forecasting.
• Support the CFO with accounting tasks, process improvements, and audits.
• Resolve invoice rejections on client portals and provide backup documentation when needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in architecture, engineering, or construction.
• Proficiency in Deltek Vision and/or Vantagepoint and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills, professional judgment, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Proven experience managing high-volume billing cycles and resolving invoicing issues.
