Controller - Norcross - In Office

A manufacturing company in Norcross has a need for an experienced Controller. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in the manufacturing environment and an active CPA or CPA in progress. This is a GREAT role for the up-and-coming candidate who is looking for career growth! There are three main areas of contribution in this role:

Responsibilities:

• Accounting Operations and Compliance: Lead the accounting function, GL management, reconciliations, month-end close, and tax filings, and be the point person for audit
• Financial Strategy & Planning: Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, consolidate data, and present and analyze P&L, KPIs, and trends to produce insights
• Cash Flow and Asset Management: Oversee cash management, including bank and inventory reconciliations

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification or in progress
• Chemical or industrial manufacturing is a plus
• Great Plains experience preferred
