We are seeking a Manufacturing Manager to join our team! You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers.

Responsibilities:

• Confers with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls, and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
• Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities for productions in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
• Coordinates production activities with purchasing, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
• Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operation reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications, and operating or production problems.
• Develops and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.
• Revises production schedules and priorities as result of equipment failure or operating problems.
• Consults with engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products.
• Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams.
• Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines.
• Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
• Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations and takes corrective action when needed.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
• Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments

• ​Qualifications:
• Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in production, preferred cable and wire manufacturing, or other related fields.
• Five years' experience in electrical production and fabrication.
• Mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to define problems, collet data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusion. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
