Job Description: Server/Cashier

Join our veteran-owned company, Tin Hut BBQ & Aloha Gourmet Food Trucks, specializing in BBQ catering, Burger Truck, Pizza Truck, Kona Ice Trucks and a Coffee truck, as a Server/Cashier. We are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about customer service and want to grow with us.

Responsibilities:

• Cashier/Customer Service: Provide friendly and efficient service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeding their expectations.
• Prepare and Clean Work Areas: Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for both customers and colleagues.
• Replenish and Stock Service Stations: Keep service stations, cabinets, and tables well-stocked with supplies, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted flow of operations.
• Clean Tables and Dining Areas: Maintain a clean and inviting dining environment by promptly clearing and sanitizing tables and dining areas.
• Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues, fostering a positive and supportive team environment that enhances the overall customer experience.
• Great with People: Possess exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating friendliness, patience, and empathy when interacting with customers.
• Dedicated and Accountable: Take pride in your work, being reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent service.

Competencies:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to actively listen and respond to customer inquiries and needs.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to meet the needs of our customers and events.
• A genuine passion for food and a desire to learn about our specialized BBQ catering and other offerings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a passion for serving others.
• Food Handlers Card: Possess a valid food handlers card, demonstrating knowledge of proper food handling and safety practices. This certification ensures the highest standards of food preparation and service.
