Job Details

We are seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team! You will participate in project planning and scheduling alongside the project manager. You will be responsible for all day to day activities on jobsites and managing subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of on site construction including weekly schedules, quality control, coordination, etc
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, municipal employees
• Negotiate with subcontractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Forward Thinking: Have for site to anticipate potential problems and implement corrective action

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
• Familiarity with the commercial construction process
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation and people skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills
