ACO, Inc. – a global leader in water management solutions – is seeking a Summer Temp Material Handler to support our Distribution team during peak season. The ideal candidate will assist in picking, packaging, and loading customer orders while maintaining inventory accuracy and workplace organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick materials using hand, forklift, or pallet jack according to picking slips
• Arrange picked items on pallets and move them to the packaging area
• Secure shipments using strapping, stretch wrap, bubble wrap, or boxing methods
• Label and store inventory, recording locations as needed
• Retrieve and verify materials for production and outbound shipments
• Prepare and apply shipping labels to packages
• Match materials to bills of lading and load trucks accordingly
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for material movement
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and work area
• Complete daily forklift maintenance checklists
• Provide support to the Receiving Department as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior warehouse or material handling experience is a plus
• Forklift certification preferred (training may be provided)
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Ability to lift 75–100 lbs regularly

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and reaching
• Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
• Manual dexterity and ability to handle physical tasks in a warehouse setting
