Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is recruiting for Assemblers in the Daniel Island, SC area. The Assembler is responsible for gathering, organizing, and packaging components or materials into kits used for manufacturing, assembly, or order fulfillment. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect and assemble items according to kit specifications or work orders.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and labels for accuracy.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of components to prevent damage or loss.
• Use handheld scanners or inventory software to track kit contents and locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitting work area.
• Report discrepancies or damaged materials to supervisors.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse, inventory, and production teams.
• Perform regular inventory cycle counts and assist with stock replenishment.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse or assembly experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, part numbers, and packing lists.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.

The estimated hourly salary range for this position is $17 - $20 per hour, though a candidate's salary will be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.
