Position Overview & Responsibilities:

The Janitorial special Services/Project Technicians main responsibility is to manage in the daily operation of specific contract services delivered to customers in a timely and quality manner. The duties of this job include floor maintenance, scrubbing, buffing, stripping and waxing floors, shampooing carpets, window washing, concrete floor specialties, and potentially more.

• Perform specialized cleaning tasks such as carpet extraction, floor stripping and waxing, high dusting, pressure washing, and post-construction cleanup.

• Handle biohazard and infectious material cleanups following proper safety procedures and regulatory compliance.

• Use and maintain specialized cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, burnishers, steam cleaners, and extraction machines.

• Respond to urgent cleaning requests and emergency cleanups (e.g., spills, floods, hazardous materials).

• Read and follow safety data sheets (SDS) for chemicals used.

• Ensure all work areas are properly cleaned, sanitized, and restored to operational condition.

• Maintain records of work performed, equipment usage, and inventory of cleaning supplies.

• Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety guidelines at all times.

• Communicate professionally with clients, team members, and supervisors.
