Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing behavior intervention strategies to improve the quality of life for our clients. This role requires a commitment to ethical practices and adherence to HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify behavioral issues and develop tailored intervention plans.
- Implement evidence-based behavior analytic interventions in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
- Collect and analyze data on patient progress to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Stay updated on best practices in the field of behavior analysis and participate in ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Strong understanding of working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Proficient in data collection methods and patient assessment techniques.
- Ability to develop effective treatment plans based on individual needs.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Experience working with children is highly desirable.
- Compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards individuals with disabilities.
