Job Description

• We are currently seeking a Medical Gas Verifier, Fire door inspector, and Environmental Testing technician. All testing done in healthcare facilities.

• Experience with any of the above is preferred but we will train a motivated individual.

Duties include, but not limited to, performing testing on new and existing medical gas systems, troubleshooting, repairing, and preventive maintenance of medical gas pipeline, and source equipment. Environmental Testing, ventilation testing, Fire Door inspections and repairs. 

• The position requires driving to and from service jobs within the assigned territory, as well as outside the assigned territory when necessary.

• Candidate must be willing to work on a flexible schedule; this is not a 9-5 position

• Complete detailed service reports after testing is complete and deliver to client

• This is not a desk job. While basic computer experience is needed, this position does not require high level computer skills.

• Compensation based on experience

• Overnight travel required occasionally, expenses paid by HCE

• Physical Demands of the Position: On a regular basis: bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching overhead. Occasional basis: Lifting, heavy (50+ lbs)

Desired Skills and Experience

• Ability to work hard, learn new things and apply them to a variety of situations

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, basic computer skills.

• Ambitious, motivated, and organized individual who can work well on their own

• Strong verbal communication and listening skills

• Background in medical gas systems or air testing and balancing is a plus

• Background in electronics / engineering or similar technologies is a plus

• Background in Fire door certification or builder’s hardware is a plus

• Background in maintenance or HVAC related trade is a plus

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

• Salary: $45,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
