We are looking to add an experienced bookkeeper accountant to our team! This position combines the professionalism found in traditional CPA firms with the day to day processing often performed in-house by staff. DeMoss has been a leader in accounting and bookkeeping outsourcing services for going on three decades, since well before outsourcing was as common as it is today.

Our bookkeeping and accounting staff receive in-house training on client particulars by assisting other staff in the processing of the financial transactions for some of our clients. Depending on the candidate's experience level, the goal is that this individual eventually becomes the lead bookkeeper accountant for several of our for-profit and/or our not-for-profit clientele.

Responsibilities:

• Tasks include Bank and Credit Card reconciliations, Accounts Payable Bill Pay, Payroll and Sales Invoicing
• Being organized and meeting deadlines
• Financial statement preparation
• Interaction will with our management team

​Qualifications:

• A minimum of two years accounting/bookkeeping experience is required
• Experience with Sage 50, QBO, QB Desktop, Excel and Word is helpful
• Detail and deadline-oriented is required
• Ability to perform simple math calculations in head (for example: multiplication table 1-12) is required
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills is required
