Our established Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company located in Livonia is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Service Technician/Driver to join our team. This individual will be responsible for delivering, setting up, and instructing patients on the proper use of medical equipment. Familiarity with DME is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. This is a long-term position with an extensive training period to ensure you become familiar with the equipment you will be working with.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver, set up, and retrieve medical equipment in patients' homes or healthcare facilities.

• Provide clear and concise instructions to patients and caregivers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.

• Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery logs, equipment inspections, and patient documentation, with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse and company vehicle.

• Collaborate with the office staff to ensure efficient scheduling and routing for deliveries and pickups.

• Rotate on-call responsibilities to provide emergency support and service as needed.

• Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and driving laws.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Excellent communication skills and customer service-oriented attitude.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout the workday.

• Previous experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) is preferred but not required.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
