Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Account Sales Manager to spearhead growth efforts in the rapidly evolving manufacturing robotics sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key customer accounts, and driving revenue through solution-based selling of our advanced robotics systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Account Management
- Develop and manage relationships with key accounts in manufacturing, automotive, electronics, and other target industries.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to understand customer needs and position robotic solutions effectively.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms with clients.
- Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across targeted regions and sectors.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to shape go-to-market strategies.
- Build a healthy sales pipeline through lead generation, cold outreach, and networking at industry events and trade shows.
- Technical Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to tailor solutions to client specifications.
- Maintain a deep understanding of robotics capabilities, integration, and ROI for clients.
- Sales Strategy & Reporting
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and pipeline activity in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Provide regular sales forecasts and business insights to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field; technical background preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in automation, industrial equipment, or robotics.
- Proven track record of sales success and business development in a technical sales environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% (or as required by role).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with integrators, OEMs, or factory automation partners.
- Familiarity with robotic systems such as articulated arms, AGVs/AMRs, or collaborative robots.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes such as assembly, welding, or material handling.
