Interim Recruiting Specialist (6-Month Contract)
Position Summary
Monet Bank (operating under Beal Bank's Texas Charter) is seeking a results-oriented Interim Recruiting Specialist to support Recruiting, Talent and core HR functions during a 6-month transition period. Reporting to the Head of People, this individual will help drive recruitment efforts in a dynamic environment as well as administrative tasks such as reports, check requests, HR research, etc. This role requires a well-rounded recruiting and/or HR generalist with a background in full-cycle recruitment and HR as well as HRIS management and optimization. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on tactical capabilities along with strategic abilities to support ongoing HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment for open positions across departments
- Manage the interview process and schedule interviews with hiring managers
- Partner with hiring managers to develop effective job descriptions and sourcing strategies
- Oversee onboarding and ensure a smooth candidate-to-employee experience
Policy Development & Compliance
- Help update HR policies to ensure legal compliance and alignment with company culture
- Address employee relations issues and support conflict resolution
- Implement and enforce consistent HR practices across departments
HRIS Management
- Manage, review and optimize current HRIS
- Ensure accurate data management, reporting and recordkeeping
- Support implementation or upgrades if applicable during the contract term
Employee Support & Culture
- Serve as the point of contact for employee questions, concerns and guidance
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment
Interim Leadership & Transition Planning
- Provide strategic support to leadership on workforce planning and HR priorities
- Document processes and assist with knowledge transfer and team stabilization initiatives
Qualifications
- One to five + years of HR experience, including recruitment
- Experience in employee policy management and HRIS systems
- Understanding of HR compliance, labor laws and HR best practices
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred.
Contract Details
- Duration: 6 months
- Start Date: [Insert Start Date]
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Compensation: Competitive based on experience (hourly or salaried)
- Option to Extend or Convert: Possible based on performance and business needs
