Workcomp360 is hiring Facility Maintenance Mechanics with Manufacturing Aerospace experience!

• Rate = $28.00 - $32.00 (depending on experience)
• Hours = 6:00 am – 2:30 pm (with overtime when needed including some weekends)
• Direct Hire Position

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Performs schedules and prioritizes major repair work to ensure timely completion of department

work orders and / or assigned tasks.

• Primary function / duties include the change out of molds in the Seating / Aerospace operations.

• Conducts preventative maintenance repairs for all vital pieces of equipment.

• All electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

• Follow and adhere to Lock – Out / Tag – Out procedures at all times.

• Assist at all times with keeping the plant running as smooth as possible while working on

maintenance projects and performing PM task.

• Recognizes waste and recommends initiative for elimination or reduction.

• Clean work areas at the end of the shift.

• Preventive Maintenance on equipment scheduled.

• Must ensure the parts you used are issued to the equipment in which they were used.

• Manages and work well with outside contractors.

• Monitors and makes requisitions on all necessary maintenance supplies to satisfactorily complete

assigned projects.

• Assists in the preparation of monthly reports on activities of the department and condition of

capital equipment.

• Continually updates the maintenance department work order system.

• Works under minimum supervision.

• Must ensure safe work practices.

• All other tasks as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Principles and practices of facility maintenance; press operation; pressure vessel operation.

methods and means of corrective and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with all

regulatory authorities and companies' policy.

• Have the basic working knowledge of two major disciplines (i.e. plumbing and pipefitting,

carpentry, painting service or machinery, electrical repair and maintenance of equipment,

hydraulic system repairs of equipment, boiler tending and custodial.

• Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing; demonstrating above average knowledge

and ability in electrical, mechanical, structural and all other general vocational skills; welding,

pipe fitting, equipment rebuilding, tool fabrication, boiler maintenance, HVAC and other facility

utilities; working long and irregular hours, including Saturdays and Holidays, when necessary.

ability to work under pressure conditions; achieving results through personal and performance and

subordinates; and maintaining productive order in an environment of changing priorities.

• General knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow safe working practices.

• Must be able to work under minimum supervision.

• Maintain housekeeping of personal work area, work department areas, and overall, Company

surroundings to the companies' standards of safety and professionalism.
