Sunland Group, Inc. is seeking an Owners Representative/Construction Inspector for immediate placement at our field office at Austin Independent School District. Throughout the AISD school district the Inspector will perform technical combination inspections in three of the following disciplines: construction, electrical, mechanical and/or plumbing. They also enforce compliance with applicable codes, regulations, ordinances, and approved construction plans.

Requirements:

• Team player, excellent interpersonal skills, and a cooperative attitude
• 3-5 years of experience in performing inspections in the above areas
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret and clearly explain rules and standards to the clients, contractors, and public
• Compliance with safety procedures and airport regulations
• Knowledge of equipment, maintenance, repair and testing of electrical/mechanical/plumbing systems and materials
• Responsible, ethical, and conscientious nature
• Independent thinking and decision making
• Multi-tasking
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
