Focus Financial Service’s financial coaching involves business owners accomplishing milestones, and goals; helping owners and managers get the most from their business.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper who will take overall responsibility for managing all financial transactions and maintaining accurate records for our clients. In this position, you will be responsible for payroll processing, and bank reconciliations. You will also be expected to generate financial reports, maintain the general ledger, and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Full Charge Bookkeeper duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the company’s financial records and transactions
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy
  • Manage payroll, understand employee benefits and compliance with labor and employer regulations, calculating and processing payroll, tracking vacation and sick time, and reviewing health insurance and retirement plans
  • Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns, and payroll tax
  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting, including analyzing financial data and making recommendations for improvement
  • Communicate financial information to management, including presenting reports and answering questions

Requirements and qualifications we are seeking:

  • 5 years experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and tax regulations
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and reports
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights
