Job Summary

The Clinical Coordinator, RN provides clinical oversight during assigned shifts for the administration of excellent patient care and customer service. This role assumes clinical responsibility for a specialty by providing orientation, teaching, clinical supervision, and evaluation of personnel assigned to the area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical supervision and support to staff members in delivering high-quality patient care and customer service.
• Orient and train new staff members on unit-specific policies and procedures.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with Medical Staff to ensure effective medical care delivery.

Requirements

Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program; BSN preferred.

Experience: One year of clinical experience in the specialty is required; one year of experience as a Clinical Coordinator/Charge Nurse is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications: Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse; American Heart Association BLS certification required; Advance Cardiac Life Support, PALS, or ENPC within 6 months of employment; TNCC within 18 months of hire and remain current in these certifications.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Demonstrated leadership ability and critical thinking skills; excellent communication skills; computer skills.
