At Cooking For Long Island Veterans, our mission is to honor and support homebound veterans by providing nutritious meals, companionship, and critical resources. As we grow our impact, we’re seeking a dynamic Fundraising Coordinator to lead our fundraising efforts and ensure our programs continue to thrive.

Position Summary:
We are looking for a passionate, organized, and creative individual to plan, manage, and execute fundraising campaigns and events. The Fundraising Coordinator will play a key role in developing donor relationships, securing sponsorships, and raising awareness about our mission.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns (both online and in-person)
• Organize fundraising events (galas, charity walks, raffles, online auctions, etc.)
• Identify and pursue grant opportunities and sponsorships
• Create compelling donor outreach materials and manage donor databases
• Engage with community leaders, veterans groups, and potential donors
• Monitor fundraising progress and report metrics to the leadership team

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in fundraising, development, or event planning preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Comfort with social media, donor management tools, and email marketing platforms
• A passion for veteran causes and nonprofit work
