Job Title: Manufacturing Test Technician

Location: San Diego, CA 92121

Duration: 03-04 months of Contract (with possible extension)

Shift timing: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Job Description

Responsible for performing service repair (i.e. testing, verifications and calibrations) of electronic equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below

mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.

 Clean and decontaminate instruments and ancillary equipment returned from customer sites.

 Prepare and maintain required service documentation.

 Performs service, maintenance, testing, calibration and verifications of instruments following

outlined procedures.

 Specifies, requests, and maintains spare part inventory.

 Performs other related duties as required.

 Monitor calibration status of equipment

Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Lifting/moving and carrying products weighing up to 50 pounds.

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration and/or moderate noise levels.

Exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials.

Safety Shoes with Impact and Compression Protection Must be worn.

Exposure to blood.

Qualifications:

Education

• AA or Technical Training School
• Lean Training with a focus on continuous improvement

Experience

 1-2 Years related experience

 Microsoft Office Skills

 Experience with ERP and CRM systems

 Working knowledge of schematics

 Basic knowledge of standard laboratory procedures, tools and biohazard precautions.

 cGMP and ISO exposure, knowledge and experience
