Child Therapist

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Child Therapist to join our team. The Child Therapist provides therapeutic interventions and assessments to children, adolescents, and their families. The successful candidate also collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for the child.

Child Therapist Duties and Responsibilities

Determine the mental and emotional health of children and adolescents using a variety of assessment tools
Develop and implement plans of care and treatment based on assessment results
Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents
Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians
Maintain accurate and detailed records of sessions
Participate in community outreach and educational programs

Child Therapist Requirements and Qualifications

Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field
Licensed as a Child Therapist in the state of practice
2+ years of experience working in a clinical setting
Strong knowledge and understanding of child development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
