Job Description
Job Description
Be the spark that connects people to purpose.
At Dieffenbach’s, we don’t just make snacks, we craft stories of hard work, flavor, and family. Behind every chip bag is a team of people who believe in something bigger: relationships, growth, and doing the right thing, even when no one’s watching.
This isn’t your typical HR role. This is your chance to build bridges, spark momentum, and help shape the future of a fast-growing, family-owned company with deep roots and bold ambitions.
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just respond to needs but anticipates them. Someone who’s not afraid to walk the production floor, ask questions, listen, and help find solutions. You’ll be part recruiter, part relationship-builder, and part business partner, working closely with leaders, employees, and community partners to support our ongoing growth.
As the HR Business and Staffing Coordinator, you will lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, help new employees feel supported from day one, and play a key role in strengthening the connection between HR and the business. You'll collaborate across departments to align staffing strategies with operational needs, while helping to drive engagement, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
Primarily based in our Chambersburg, PA location, this role includes approximately 15-25% travel, primarily to support employees and leadership at our Womelsdorf, PA facility. Whether you're on the road or on-site, you’ll be someone who sees people first and shows up to help, wherever that may be.
What You’ll DoManage and execute full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles
Build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and community partners
Drive new hire onboarding experiences and Day 1 readiness
Partner with leadership to identify workforce needs and craft staffing strategies
Contribute to employee engagement, retention, and cultural initiatives
Travel to satellite sites to support HR, staffing, and employee relations needs
What You’ll Bring
2–4 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or staffing (manufacturing or fast-paced environment preferred)
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to build trust and navigate sensitive topics with professionalism and empathy
Experience using ATS or HRIS systems (ADP experience a plus)
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
A hands-on, proactive approach and a passion for helping people succeed
Why Join Dieffenbach’s?
Be part of a purpose-driven team that’s growing fast and staying grounded
Build meaningful relationships across all levels of the organization
Make an impact every day... on people, process, and performance
Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits
Ready to connect people to opportunity and help shape the future of Dieffenbach’s?
Apply today and grow with us.
