NorthAmerican Concessions Food Service Workers (FSWs) meet each of our guests, help them with their selections and prepare their orders. All while upholding the Garrett Great Service brand. A FSWs responsibility is to ensure each promotion is talked about and to make sure the customer gets the best offer we can do for them. Our FSWs are also responsible for ending the transaction professionally, kindly, and ready to welcome the customer back in, while handling money correctly. Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming and engaging customer service
• Smile, have fun, and maintain a positive, upbeat attitude
• Work quickly while serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner
• Reconcile cash and charged sales with shift manager at end of shift to verify accuracy
• Maintain food quality at Garrett Popcorn Shops standards
• Follow Garrett Popcorn Shops standards
• Fold/seal bags in the approved Garrett Popcorn Shops manner to maintain freshness
• Every team member is responsible for ensuring that their store is clean, presentable to customers, and always stocked (includes sharing the cleaning responsibilities)

Physical Demands

• Standing a minimum of 8 hours per day
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and occasionally lift 50 pounds

You must have open availability and be able to work both the morning and afternoon shifts, all days of the week, weekends, and holidays - no exceptions.

Qualifications

• Must possess basic math skills and be able to make correct change
• Basic knowledge of the functions of POS systems and cash registers preferred
• Experience with food prep in a fast-paced environment is preferred but not necessary
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
• Able to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
• Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook
• Get along well with others and be a team player

Must have excellent communication skills

Must have the ability to get badged by The Chicago Department of Aviation, which includes a federal background check, as well as maintaining the badge.

Must be able to uphold all CDA and TSA regulations related to safety and security

• Other duties and tasks as assigned by management
• Must have current Food Handler and Food Allergens Certificates

Health Insurance, Dental Insurance and Vision Insurance are offered after employees pass their 90-day probationary period, and if elected, it will begin on the first day of the month following the passage of the probationary period.

PTO (Paid Time Off):Employees will receive 80 hours of PTO after accruing a full year of full-time service.Employees are permitted to begin using accrued PTO time after they work a minimum of six (6) months.PTO will increase at the five (5) year mark and at the ten (10) year mark.

Paid Sick Time:Employees receive 40 hours of Paid Sick Time per year and they are permitted to start using it after they pass their 90-day probationary period.
