Job Overview: As a Warehouse Associate, you would be responsible for the following:

· You will perform the daily functions of shipping, labeling and packaging customer orders in a timely manner.

- Compare identifying information, counts, weights, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.

- Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet customer's specifications.

- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence, basic computer skills.

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Flexibility to be able to switch gears and refocus.

· You will be cross-trained on other functions (e.g. packing slip/BOL creation, UPS shipping) as required to support the overall team effort of the Logistics Department.

- Follow all quality, process, and safety procedures as defined by departmental procedures or specific work instructions.

Required Qualifications:

· High School Diploma and/or GED equivalent.

· Warehouse experience, Manufacturing environment or similar environment.

· Experience working on a computer-basic computer skills, data entry.

· Must be a detail oriented person willing to work in a team environment.

· Begin and finish each day with a "zero defect" mentality.

Physical Requirements and Duties:

· Ability to reach, turn, twist, and walk - repeat motion.

· Ability to stand for 85% of a work shift.

· Ability to lift 35 lbs. at a time.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bilingual a plus, must be able to read and write English

· Forklift experience a plus, but not necessary

· Experience Stocking in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.

· Experience with both Shipping and Receiving in a warehouse environment.

· Experience with both Picking and Packing in a warehouse environment.
