Position: Occupational Therapist

Reports to: Home Modifications Program Manager

Time of Employment: Up to 1000 hours over three years

Contractual Rate: $100 per hour (all inclusive, no separate reimbursement for mileage)

Overview of Role:

The Occupational Therapist for the Home Modification Program will be part of a supportive, collaborative, and innovative team assisting older adults and enhancing their quality-of-life through home modifications. The OT will provide assessments for home modifications for clients and community members who meet program eligibility criteria (an average of three visits to perform the initial assessment, education and training for the client if required, and a follow-up assessment) for 168 home modifications over three years.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Receive client referrals and schedule assessment in coordination with the Program Manager
• Provide complete home assessments for home modification, travelling across the four-county area
• Attend HUD trainings as required
• Maintain client confidence by keeping information confidential

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience working with older adults and proficiency with technology platforms.

Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
