Workcomp360 is hiring an ONSITE Contract Administrator with Aerospace experience.

Qualifications and requirements:

• · BS with 5+ years of applying it in associated multi spectrum environments & roles
• · Skilled at managing informational interactions with multiple departments from senior management to hourly personnel
• · You possess a high level of skill with all aspects of Microsoft Office
• · Knowledge of FAR/DFAR for Defense or Federal contracts
• · Technical (Engineering) & administrative language (Contracts) is your experience
• · Have directly written & submitted Grant Proposals or Experimental Study outlines

What a day looks like:

• Enter emailed quotes into company's ERP software (Made 2 Manage), defining RFP, RFI, or RFQ as appropriate
• Evaluate the technical data packet (TDP) for completeness, request additional documents as needed to assemble the quote response
• Send out bids for quote materials, assemble responses into cost model (Company's format – excel)
• Work with Engineering to develop preliminary manufacturing plan and estimate labor, assembling into cost model
• Present completed cost models to senior management for review
• Write a compelling & compliant bid response letter (using company's format) to the customer
• Communicate with customers throughout bid process

Please note:

This role is complex, it requires direct role experience with Engineering, Materials, and administrative skills (Costs/Pricing) to successfully navigate the day to day. Quotes are assembled manually using Microsoft Office. Assembling a bid requires awareness of competition pricing intelligence combined with strategy & innovative approaches.
