About the Role
The Inside Sales Rep (ISR) is a critical driver of sales activity, developing leads through the nurture and qualification funnel and into the sales pipeline. Working closely with the field sales team, the ISR will focus on engaging prospects within targeted accounts, presenting the DigiLens value proposition, determining if there is a fit, and then advancing the conversation to the field sales team for further action.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Identify prospects from demand gen program responses and database sourcing, resulting in qualified leads.
- Assist with moving contract vehicles and associated documents through the signature process.
- Achieve qualified leads goals by converting inbound leads and generating leads from targeted account prospecting.
- Manage inbound leads while building up and nurturing a prospect pipeline.
- Maintain high performance against call, email, and contact metrics.
- Execute telephone and email marketing campaigns within the DigiLens CRM system.
- Engage both warm and cold prospects through outbound calls.
- Discover prospects’ needs and fit through exploratory questioning.
- Qualify prospects’ sales readiness and transition the conversation to field sales.
- Follow an account-based approach to identify all decision-makers and key influencers within named accounts.
- Competently convey DigiLens’ position, value, and differentiation to various levels of prospect contacts.
- Assess prospect needs and requirements against DigiLens’ offerings.
- Develop relationships with key channel partners to jointly create and execute lead development and demand generation campaigns.
- Articulate the value of current product capabilities and service offerings to service partners based on input from sales.
- Constructively raise customer concerns, including providing full context of the issue(s), to the customer success team.
- Represent DigiLens at sales events, customer events, trade shows, etc.
Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in telephone-based sales or business development,
- Proven success in outbound sales qualification of large enterprise/government accounts.
- Strong telephone presence and outstanding listening and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and an aptitude for learning new technologies; prior experience with HubSpot is a plus.
- General organizational and planning skills.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong initiative and an ability to work in a self-directed environment, as required.
Other Requirements
- This position is located in Sunnyvale, CA.
- Some travel is required (~10%).
