Job Details

As an RV Service Writer, you’ll be the vital link between our clients and the service department. You’ll be responsible for writing repair orders, scheduling service appointments, communicating with technicians, ordering parts and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is task-oriented, and can juggle multiple responsibilities while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and gather detailed information about their RV service needs

• Open, maintain, and close repair orders with accuracy

• Order parts for repairs

• Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians

• Communicate service progress updates to customers in a clear and timely manner

• Review completed repairs with customers and handle any concerns or follow-ups

• Maintain organized records and service files

• Assist with warranty claim documentation and processing

• Support the service manager and team as needed

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving

• Computer proficiency (experience with dealership service software a plus)

• Previous experience in a service writer or customer service role preferred

• Knowledge of RVs or RV systems is helpful but not required — we will train the right candidate!
